Warehouse Training Specialist

Job Title:

Warehouse Training Specialist

Responsibility:

·  Evaluate current SOP’s and draft any changes or suggestions for Management approval

·  Create Training plans according to regulations, company policy, Warehouse objectives, and action plans

·  Create floor level instruction plans for various procedures (Safety, UPS, Fed-X, cleaning, shift change over, etc.).

·  Create and maintain training matrix

·  Create, perform, maintain, and document all training, re-training and new employee startup training

·  Mentor others to be sublevel trainers after startup of new employee’s

·  Evaluate all QMI’s and create training plan for current and new employee startup

·  Maintain all ISO/FDA standards within training plans and documentation

·  Based on QIR, complaints, SCAR, create and perform training

·  Other duties as assigned

 

Authority:

 

·  Prepare training plans and execute for Warehouse

·  Train current and new Warehouse employees

·  Represent Warehouse management in a training environment

·  SAP Authorization (MRP System)

·  Initiate QIR, SCAR and other reports

·  eQMS system Authorization (Quality Software System)

·  Warehouse equipment operation

 

Job Requirements:

 

·  Work according to safety regulations and guidelines

·  Ability to mentor personnel, providing on the job training to new and existing employee

·  High School graduate or equivalent

·  Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

·  MRP experience (SAP preferred)

·  Must be organized and have attention to detail

·  Warehouse and or Manufacturing experience (preferred)

·  Previous experience with ISO/FDA standards (preferred)

·  Work independently without Supervision

·  Ability to use Barcode hand scanners

·  Ability to operate Warehouse equipment (will train)

  

Physical Requirements:

·  Standing or walking approximately 8 hours per day

·  Kneeling, reaching, steps, stairs, pushing, pulling as needed to meet the job

·  Lifting packages 18-32 lbs. repeatedly, and occasionally lifting to approximately 70 lbs.
