Q: What is the best way to apply to Greiner Bio-One?
A: You should always apply via our online careers portal. This is the only way that we can guarantee that we will be able to process your application promptly and provide you with an adequate response. At this stage, we just ask you to fill in a few mandatory fields. You are of course welcome to upload pre-prepared application documents (e.g. CV, covering letter references) or enter your career history into the online form.
Q: Can I only apply for specific positions or do you also accept speculative applications?
A: Of course there is also the option of submitting a speculative application on our portal.

Q: What happens after I have submitted my online application?
A: Our HR team receives your application. At the preselection stage, the skills and competencies listed on your CV will be compared against our job description. We will let you know whether you have successfully passed the preselection stage.
Q: How many rounds of interviews are there? Who will be present at the interviews?
A: If you successfully pass the preselection stage, we will invite you to an initial interview so that we can learn more about you and your career history and give you the chance to get a better insight into our company and the job advertised. In most cases, there will be two rounds of interviews before any job offers are made. Present at the interview will be potential future colleagues, the department manager and the relevant recruiter.
Q: What happens in an interview at Greiner Bio-One?
A: The recruiter will guide you and the members of the department through the interview. We will be wanting to get a good impression of your skills, competencies and experience and will be looking for dialogue, inviting you to ask any important questions you may have too.

A: At the end of the interview, the relevant recruiter will agree a time frame with you within which you will receive feedback and be informed of the next step. Please do not hesitate to contact the relevant recruiter after the interview.

A: We will telephone you in person to give you feedback.
Q: What happens if I am offered a job?
A: We will contact you by telephone to arrange a date to sign the contract. Before this date, we will send you a draft of your personal contract so you can prepare yourself. A meeting to discuss all of the details at length will then be arranged.
