Premium Safety and Premium Comfort: VACUETTE® PREMIUM Tubes
Last edited: | FAQ - Back to overview
Since blood is potentially infectious sample material, our aim at Greiner Bio-One is to make daily routine procedures as simple and safe as possible for medical staff. For this reason, our VACUETTE® PREMIUM Tubes with safety screw thread have become an indispensable part of our product range. Because with these, product handling comfort and user safety are combined when working with blood samples. The PREMIUM version of our tubes is also already available for most applications in our standard product range.
Maximum handling comfort
The unique screw thread of our VACUETTE® PREMIUM Tubes allows the tube to be opened effortlessly, even with just one hand if necessary. In addition, the twist cap is also suitable for automatic decapping of the tubes. The product is available with transparent plastic labels, which help ensure a clear view of the sample, even if a paper patient label has been applied.
Furthermore, our colour-coded caps meet the international standard according to ISO 6710 and the coloured snap rings enable any additional indication if required.

Evacuated Tubes
The advantage of our evacuated VACUETTE® Tubes is that a clearly defined quantity of blood sample material can be collected without further handling requirements. Most tubes contain chemical additives, which in combination with the pre-determined vacuum ensure the correct mixing ratio of the blood sample.
