Terms and Conditions “Greiner Bio-One Competition”
The Greiner Bio-One Competition is a promotional prize competition for a limited period of time by Greiner Bio-One GmbH, Bad Haller Straße 32, 4550 Kremsmuenster, Austria, [email protected] ("Promoter"). Participation in the prize competition can take place in the period from June, 27th, 2022, to June 29th, 2022. Participation in the prize competition is only possible under the conditions stated herein.
In order to be able to participate in the prize competition, the participant must play the quiz at least once directly at the Greiner Bio-One booth at the IFCC WorldLab Seoul 2022. All persons who, at the time of their participation, have reached the age of 18, are professionally active in the field of health care, fulfill and accept the present conditions are eligible to participate.
Furthermore, by voluntarily submitting their personal data after being notified (by e-mail in the event of a win) by the Promoter, participants expressly consent to the processing of their personal data (name, address) by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the prize competition. This consent can be revoked at any time by contacting the Promoter. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place until the revocation. The winner of the following prize will be chosen from all participants who have successfully completed the quiz.

The Promoter is solely responsible for the execution of the prize competition. The winner will be determined after the closing date on 27th June and subsequently notified in writing via e-mail. The prize will be sent to the winner after the winner has voluntarily provided his/her postal address. If no postal address is provided by the winner within seven calendar days of being contacted by the Promoter, a new winner will be selected. There is no obligation to accept the prize. Winning claims are not transferable; cash redemption of the prize is not possible. The prize cannot be exchanged.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate and/or change the terms and conditions of the prize competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. Employees, authorized representatives, legal successors and agents of the Promoter as well as their relatives are excluded from participation. Participation in the prize competition is free of charge, voluntary and independent of the purchase of goods and services from the Promoter. There is no minimum turnover. Defined multiple participation is possible.
If there is reason to suspect that the conditions of participation have been violated or that false, fraudulent or other invalid or inadmissible information has been provided or that an attempt has been made to influence participation through technical manipulation, the Promoter reserves the right to exclude participants from the draw and the prize competition. In the event of exclusion from the prize competition, the prize may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed.
The Promoter shall not be liable in any form whatsoever for direct or indirect damage, irrespective of the legal grounds, which arises or could arise in connection with participation in the prize competition, acceptance and use of the prize or non-availability of the winner. Furthermore, the Promoter does not assume any costs that the participant may incur or could incur in connection with participation in the prize competition and the acceptance and use of the prize. The Promoter also accepts no liability for loss of data, in particular during data transmission, or other technical defects. The Promoter is generally not liable for the correctness of all information, especially if it has been altered or falsified due to technical errors, transmission losses, third party intervention or force majeure. The participant has no right of redress, compensation or other claims against the Promoter. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all warranties and liability in connection with the prizes played.
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, the legal validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall not be affected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provisions. In the event of legal disputes, the law of the Republic of Austria shall be exclusively applicable. The application of the conflict of laws rules of the IPRG and the application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods are excluded. Errors excepted.
