GREINER BIO-ONE UK INTRODUCES NEW ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY |
| Greiner Bio-One UK is committed to improving our impact on the environment. In order to do this we concentrate on key areas where our business has an impact on the environment:- |
| Energy Consumption – we will reduce our use of energy where possible by renewing end-of-life equipment with energy efficient products. |
| Pollution Reduction - we will aim to get products to our customers in the most environmentally way possible thus reduce pollution. |
| Marketing – we will reduce our use of printed marketing material by moving towards electronic solutions for our catalogues and other media. |
| Waste – we will recycle where possible all waste products of our operation including both business & domestic |
| Procurement – when purchasing products and services we will actively seek to use suppliers with sound environmental credentials where possible |
| Compliance – we will monitor our compliance with all regulations, both legal and also those entered into voluntarily as part of standards that we hold |
| Continuous Improvement – we will not stand still on our approach but will actively look to reduce the impact on our local environment year on year |
