VACUETTE® Disposable Tourniquet

If tourniquets are not cleaned before reusing for venipuncture procedures, there is a potential risk of infection. In order to guarantee health protection for the patient and phlebotomist, Greiner Bio-One has now on offer a new, single-use tourniquet made out of latex-free material.

Tests show that if tourniquets are used repeatedly without being cleaned, there is a potential infection risk. If the tourniquet is immediately reused, pathogens can be transmitted.

In order to guarantee health protection for both patient and phlebotomist, Greiner Bio-One can now offer a new single-use tourniquet. They are manufactured from latex-free material. The special coating on the inner side guarantees a firm fit, which prevents slipping when pulling tight.

One pack contains 25 pieces on a roll. Tourniquets are torn off via the perforation. The four diagrams on the back of the pack clearly illustrate the easy product application.
