Greiner Bio-One introduced the GENSPEED MRSA Test System at this year's ECCMID (European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases) from March 21st to April 3rd.



At a stand shared with our cooperation partner Amplex Diagnostics®, Greiner Bio-One presented itself for the first time in the branch of IVD tests for nosocomial* pathogens and acknowledged as the unique supplier of an MRSA Test System that detects the new relevant resistance gene of Staphylococcus aureus (mecC).

The innovative  MRSA Test System is an in vitro diagnostic tool for the qualitative detection of MRSA bacteria from nose and throat swabs.  MRSA was developed as a time and money saving rapid test for low throughput applications in clinics and laboratories.  delivers precise  MRSA test results after only 75 minutes and thereby is among the fastest systems on the market.
