Saliva Transfer Tube
The professional user - doctor or medical staff - has the additional option of purchasing individual items licenced for professional use (Mouth Rinsing Solution, Saliva Extraction Solution, Saliva Collection Beaker and Saliva Transfer Tube) in order to create sets for saliva collection as required.
The GBO Saliva Transfer Tube is intended for stabilisation and transport of the saliva sample. It contains substances that preserve and stabilise, to ensure further storage and handling of the collected saliva sample. The tube is pushed with the cap in a downward direction and is filled via the vacuum effect. The tubes contain toxic sodium azide*. The tubes must not be opened (do not remove orange cap). The saliva collection beaker should be kept out of reach of children.
