Rinsing Solution
The professional user - doctor or medical staff - has the additional option of purchasing individual items licenced for professional use (Mouth Rinsing Solution, Saliva Extraction Solution, Saliva Collection Beaker and Saliva Transfer Tube) in order to create sets for saliva collection as required.
The rinsing solution is for cleansing the oral cavity prior to the actual saliva collection process, in order to reduce contamination of the sample by bacteria, epithelial cells or food remains.
This is 6ml rinsing solution (citrate buffer, colourless), which has been microbiologically tested.
